What is Creighton Pond Day Camp?

Creighton Pond Day Camp, located at 210 Essex Street, Middleton, MA, is for girls and boys ages 6 through 14.

Located on 25-acre Creighton Pond, the Camp features over 150 acres of woodland, 2 athletic fields, volleyball court, basketball court, hiking trails, Olympic sized swimming pool, picnic and playground areas, arts & crafts gazebo, bath houses and a large recreation lodge.

Camp Sessions

Creighton Pond Day Camp meets in 10 one week sessions with weekly themes. Enrollment is limited by our license. It is advised that you enroll your child for as many sessions as necessary to ensure that a space will be available for your camper. Camp phone is (978) 777-0279 and the office number is (781) 593-1772. Camp opens, Wednesday, June 19th for the 2019 Season.

Camp Staff and Licensing

Under the leadership of Camp Director Leland Boutilier, direct staff includes Boys & Girls Clubs trained professionals, college students with camping and recreational experience as well as certification in CPR and First Aid. All staff participate in a comprehensive staff training program and a Criminal Investigation Check. Counselor to camper ration is 1-10. Creighton Pond Day Camp is licensed under State Department of Public Health; Division of Community Sanitation; license issued by Middleton Board of Health. Parents have the right to review camp policies in accordance with State Statue (190 D).

Age-appropriate Activities

Campers are placed in groups based on their gender, age and the grade level they will be entering the following fall. All youth will participate in a wide range of activities.

Weeks of June 19th – 21st and July 1st – 3rd camp Rate $125/week
No camp on July 4th or July 5th

June 19-21
Kick off to Summer
Join us as we start our summer in style. The week will be highlighted by our pool and dance parties, ice cream social and appearances by DJ Paulie B.

June 24-28
Sports Extravaganza
Join us for non-stop sports action. Campers will participate in clinics to develop skills and fundamentals then use those skills in game action.

July 1-3
Stars & Stripes
Celebrate the Birth of our Nation while participating in activities that are as “American as Apple Pie.”

July 8-12
Outdoor Education and Exploration
Campers will develop an appreciation for the outdoors through wilderness investigation, nature discovery and conservation education.

July 15-19
Spirit Week
Show your camp spirit through activities like color wars, camp banners and group challenges.

July 22-26
Mad Scientists
Campers will have the opportunity to learn about science through a variety of hands on and interactive science activities and experiments.

July 29-Aug. 2
Nature Explorers
Campers will discover the wonder of nature through hands on exploration of our forest and pond.

Aug. 5-9
Olympics Week
An annual camp favorite, campers will represent different countries in individual and team events. Camper will not want to miss a minute of the action from the opening ceremonies to the final medal presentations.

Aug. 12-16
Creighton’s Got Talent
Camper’s talents will be on display for our Spelling and Geography Bees then cap the week with our Annual Talent Show.

Aug 19-23
Celebration Week
Wrap up the summer with all your friends, new and old. We will revisit our favorite activities from the summer and add a few new twists.

Note: We will combine week 1 & 2 activities if school cancellations warrant a nine-week schedule.
